Our sweet, precious Clare Bear is having surgery tomorrow- ear tubes. We're praying this will bring an end to her non-stop ear infections for the past 4 months. Today she's come down with a nasty cold. This morning all she wanted to do was sit in my lap with her head down. Poor girlie!

On Monday the ENT said her ears were still infected, but instead of putting her on another antibiotic, we needed to do tubes asap. But her ears have been getting worse all week, so today he called in an antibiotic for her as well.

We're praying that she'll be well enough for the procedure tomorrow and that it would bring her much-needed relief!

In closing, here's a little Clare fact: Clare LOVES shoes. Shoes and burp clothes are probably her very favorite possessions. Her own shoes are her favorite, but she is often found wandering the house with other people's shoes in tow. When she gets up in the mornings she brings me her shoes. Or she sits down and tries to put her shoes on herself. The other day Clare and I went to get Reed and she had wear one pair of shoes and carry another. When we got to his school she sat down and took her shoes off and tried to put on the extra pair. I had to switch them out before she'd move on! I am so NOT a shoe person, I'm quite shocked at her obsession. But if she wants to talk purses..... I'm on board!
