I was home with two sick kids today. Clare is getting over a sinus infection and has apparently contracted poison ivy somehow! We have no idea how that could have happened. She's had no contact with grass or weeds or animals in weeks. But she has a rash all over one leg that spread very quickly. The good news is that it has been contained to one leg thus far.

Reed has a bad cold and laid around most of the day. He is not happy about missing preschool tomorrow, but I think he'll need to be home a couple more days.

We got out our train tent and discovered Clare is terrified of being inside the tent. So it was a great way to separate the kids! At lunch time, Clare and I were finished before Reed. I left the kitchen for a moment and then heard Clare screaming. I ran in to find her stuck under Reed's chair. Here he is telling me he has no idea how she got under there!

Clare loves to take things out and put things in... anything. Today she took all her snacks out of her snack cup and put them in a bowl and came to sit at my feet and eat her snacks while I cooked.
