VBS- Day 3

Reed's still pumped about Vacation Bible School, but today there was a boy screaming his head off when Reed got there, so he was a little hesitant, but went in anyways. He made these silly glasses today and they talked about being thankful.

Yesterday Reed was telling me their Bible story was about 10 men and then just 1 man. ? He was very adamant about that- but I had no idea what that meant. I asked one of his teachers today and she said they talked about the ten lepers Jesus sent to the priests. As they went, they were healed, but out of the ten men, only one came back to thank Jesus for healing him. She was impressed Reed was listening. (He's ALWAYS listening!)

He knows his verse today is "Since I live, He also lives." I'm not sure where that verse is, but he knows it's talking about Jesus.

They also talked about their mission project for all of VBS. They are raising money for playgrounds for churches in Romania. He said on the way home, "Wouldn't you be sad if you had no playground to play on? YES! So they need playgrounds too." We'll have to think of a few ways Reed can earn some money around the house to take an offering to church by Friday.

He was playing Musical Chairs when I picked him up, so I took a couple pictures of that too. (Can you tell I scrapbook? Gotta have pictures!!)
