This weekend we painted Reed's room. He helped pick out the new colors- blue and red. We painted a chalkboard underneath his window, rearranged the furniture, and for the most amazing piece.... the train picture. We got the idea at Ikea to mount a train and track onto the wall for decor. Instead of making that many holes in the wall, we painted a piece of plywood green and glued the track and train onto it. Then Aunt Sara painted the landscaping. You have to see it in person to truly appreciate what an amazing job Sara did. It was so cool to watch her transform this green board into a masterpiece! She is incredible! It really is the coolest thing about Reed's new room.

Reed had fun yesterday out with Aunt Andra all day while we worked on his room. They went to Toys R Us, the park, lunch, a splash park and Andra's house. He slept GREAT last night!
