Reed had a blast staying with his Grandpa and Grandma while we took Clare to South Dakota and Iowa. He didn't miss us for a moment. He went to Schramm Park to see dinosaur bones and fish and lots of other animals. He helped pick out new trees and plant flowers. He went to a farm and saw donkeys, sheep, chickens and kitties. He got to stay up late and play lots of games. Clare enjoyed being an only child for a few days too. That may be her only shot at it!

I think I'm "done" with laundry-- at least laundry from our trip. A mom with two kids is never really "done" with laundry. Now I have to keep sorting through mail and start cleaning the house! Blah.... that's the hardest part about vacation for me-- the realization that I'm not on vacation anymore!
