Friday in Paris
We slept in this morning and then headed to the Monet museum. They had about 35 Monet paintings- lots of water lillies. He's probably my favorite painter, so it was a must-see on my list.
Then we found our way (with the help of a very nice French lady) to the correct bus stop to take us to the Arc de Triumph. It is really impressive. We went to the top for some beautiful pictures of the city. Then we window shopped down the Champs de Elysees- a famous avenue here filled with tourists and expensive stores. We had lunch at McDonalds- tastes just like the Russian McD's. (We wouldn't know about the American ones!)
This afternoon we strolled through our neighborhood and went in some boutiques. We had onion soup and fries (they don't call them French here). Then we came back to the hotel. We may head to our cafe next door for dessert.
Have to rest up though- tomorrow is our last day here!!
