Happiest Kid on the Block

I'm sure all parents say this about their child-- but Reed truly is the best kid ever!

He is always smiley and happy. We are taking small steps into the world of tantrums, but he's 14 months old and that's normal. Reed LOVES to read. Thanks to his Aunt Christy, he has probably 40 board books that we flip through at least 3 times a day. Some little boys love cars....but this little boy loves books.

Yesterday Reed went to Dr. Skiles- the ENT doctor. The audiologist tested his hearing and he's within the normal range, but didn't react to the lower tones. He still has some fluid in his ear that has been infected lately- so his ears are probably plugged up the way you feel on an airplane. Poor guy-- it may have been plugged ever since we went to Nebraska a month ago! But the final decision to put in tubes is ours-- we will probably wait a month and see if he gets another ear infection or if it clears up now that cold and flu season is ending.
