Miss Clare is 9 months old now! Weighing in at 18 lbs. 5 oz, standing 28 3/4 inches tall, she's 100% cute. She's perfectly healthy and growing right on track. There was some concern from her doctor that she's not babbling or baby talking at all, so we are having her evaluated sometime in the next couple weeks hopefully. But really, we don't think this is a big issue- the doctor just thought it wouldn't hurt to have it checked out.

Tonight we went to the mall and Clare and I hung out while Reed rode the carosel and played. She's so laid back. Feet propped up. Watching everyone as they go by. We believe it's this laid back attitude that is also keeping her immobile for now. (No crawling or pulling up on things.) She's perfectly content to just sit for an hour or lay and play with a toy. It will be interesting to see how laid back she is later on.

When I was making dinner tonight she was laying on the floor and crying to be held. Suddenly she stopped, so I looked over and Reed was laying on the floor with her and he'd gotten out a favorite toy and they were playing together. It was the sweetest moment. He is such a sweet big brother to Clare. He sings to her, brings her toys, rubs her tummy, etc... Again, we'll see how sweet they are to each other when she starts wanting his toys! :)
