The Talker

Reed is already quite the talker. In the car, in his crib, at the table, playing, bathtime-- you name it and he will be talking, talking, talking. He's putting several words together now and becoming more and more coherant. (Meaning people other than just Mommy and Daddy can understand what he's saying!) At church today, the lady in Reed's room couldn't believe how much he talks. When I got there to pick him up, he was sure giving a speech to everyone.

One thing Reed is NOT is a long sleeper. This week he has been getting up at 5:15 am every morning. Greg asked Reed if he thought he had to milk cows or something. He talks (very loudly) in his crib, "MommyDaddyMommyDaddyMommyDaddy"-- as if to say, "I don't care who comes to get me, just get me out of bed!" Then we hear, "Diaper?" And if we don't answer, he goes back to jabbering away. (A typical wakeup time is 6:30 am. This 5:15 is sure making 6:30 look good!)
