Arnett Tiede
My grandpa, Arnett Tiede, had his 2nd stroke yesterday. He had a stroke back in March '05, but he had made a very good recovery. We aren't sure yet what this 2nd stroke means. My parents left yesterday to drive to South Dakota to be with him and my aunt. Please pray!

My grandpa has always been one of my favorite people in the whole world! What a guy! He loves to tease me and even his first stroke didn't stop that. Grandpa consistently prays for each person in our family, by name, every single day. My grandma did too before she passed away just a couple days before Reed was born.

It was very important to Greg and me that we take Reed to meet all of his great-grandparents after he was born. He missed getting to meet his great-grandma Clara Tiede. So we drove to Nebraska, South Dakota and Iowa to see everybody. These pictures of Reed and Grandpa are precious to me. This was the last time we were there to visit.
